Home Loan Taste of the Grand Valley is a food festival featuring a wide array of local restaurants, catering companies and food products.
Exhibitors provide samples of their food and/or beverage, and participants enjoy an evening of tasting and fun, all while supporting United Way of Mesa County. Attendees get to vote for the best in categories.
Fruita Fat Tire Festival
May 7 - May 9, 2021
One of the most beloved endurance events on the western slope. With a fast and fun singletrack lap located within the "posh environs" of Highline Lake State Park, with its green grass and warm showers, makes this a great race to kick off the season. Mike the Headless Chicken Festival
Celebrate the 21st Annual Mike the Headless Chicken Festival May 29th and May 3oth, 2020, in Fruita, Colorado. This festival is dedicated to the amazing story of one chicken’s will to live. Events such as a 5k run, disc golf tournament, wing and peep eating contests, live music, delicious food, and artisan booths make this a weekend to remember.

Movies Under the Stars
July 3 - September 4, 2020
“Movies Under the Stars” is the major fund raiser for the Glade Park Volunteer Fire Department. On summer Fridays, hundreds load up their families and drive up from Grand Junction to Glade Park, CO, to cool off and eat at the grill (only open during the movie) and watch a FREE family movie under stars that are bright and plentiful. For locals it is a place to visit with neighbors, and show support for the Fire Department by volunteering to flip burgers and brats at the grill and concession stand.
Country Jam USA
Country Jam is one of the largest music festivals held in western Colorado and features four days of performances by country music‘s biggest stars!
Downtown Farmer's Market
July 9 - September 24, 2020
From 5:30-8:30pm every Thursday, The Downtown Farmers’ Market is summertime’s signature event in Grand Junction, and is a showcase of farm products from the Western Slope and around Colorado. It's a summer-long community event series drawing an estimated 5,000 visitors per week.

Lincoln Park-Moyer Pool
This 50 meter outdoor pool features a waterslide, Splash Pad water playground, a 13' diving well with 1 meter and 3 meter diving boards, and a separate, shallow water (2' - 4') instructional tank. KinderMusik- KidzPlex
Susan Rowland believes in children and she believes in music. She is excited about the way that Kindermusik brings children and music together for life. Susan grew up with music in her home and studied music throughout high school and college. Her education includes elementary education and music at Colorado Mesa State and Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Susan received her preschool/childcare director qualifications through the University of the Rockies in Denver. She has been actively involved in the care and education of young children for over 18 years.
